Default Two Meteor Showers at the same time...?

Would this skill list work to cast to Meteor Showers at the same time?

Arcane Echo | Glyph of Sacrifice | Meteor Shower | Glyph of Esscence | Meteor Shower | Second Wind

Arcane echo would ignore GoS and copy Meteor Shower, which would be isntantly cast, then Glyph of Esscence would allow the copied Meteor Shower to be cast again. Then use Second Wind to take advantage of the -30 energy from exaustion to recover from Esscence.

I have no idea whether this would be effective at all, but I was just toying with the idea and wanted to ask whether it work at all? I would test it myself, but I am leaving in a few minutes.

Umm, nah, wouldn't really work.

Meteor Shower is bad, the few times it's worthwhile just Glyph of Sac it.

I think that if you use Glyph of Sacrifice, Arcane Echo will deactivate itself, because the Glyph is something that it can't copy...

The same occours if you use Arcane Echo and after an attack skill o a stance...

I though arcane echo blows up if you use a glyph beforehand...either way it's pretty pointless when you can spam rodgorts+mind blast.

I'd rather use glyph of essence on the first MS a low energy set, then switch to a higher set and glyph sac the copy.

It doesn't work but you can get them pretty close together using archane echo, hard casting Met Shower, and then glyph of sac met shower. They for me go about 1 second apart which keeps the knockdown going a little better. But still it's almost always better to go some kinda spammer isntead of dropping met showers.

Meteor Shower is still useful even where there's SF/Mind Blast + Rodgort's spam, as the KD effect is quite handy. But I definitely think it's also not worth making a build around it, just stick it in where there's free space.

I tested it and yeah, the glyph destroyed echo. Instead I poped on deep freeze, which worked nice for PvP. So I cast that, then arcane echo, then meteor shower, then GoS then meteor shower again. With the Mark applied, it did good damage.

Why not just run searing flames?

Arcane Echo > Meteor Shower > Glyph of Sacrifice > Echoed Meteor Shower might work...though you'd still have a 5 second cast on the first.

As for the question "would it be effective"...I guess it depends what you're trying to achieve...

I might be wrong, but the burning from MoR would trigger simply from an attack using a Fire Wand/Staff wouldn't it? Then Flare is again only a waste of Energy.

Flare Spam is more fun than wanding maybe?

Actually I wouldn't know. I don't think Flare has ever found it's way onto my skillbar by choice.

capping in AB or long fight in PVE is all I ever use dual showers for.

Flare is just stupid on any build. It might make more sense with fragility, but then you can just wand.

@OP while it is possible to use 2 met showers at one, please never do it. the damage is not so great, and you have to wait 8 seconds for your initial damage, and then at least a minute before you can do anything again. and the damage dosnt even compare to RI spam.

2 MS can work, but better when coming from 2 seperate eles. Also, if you would chose to cast both MS by yourself, then alterante targets for a maximum spread.

There is a real meteor shower going on right now, they are called the Orionids and if you look at the constellation Orion from the northern hemisphere you will see them. The shower lasts until Nov. 7th but tonight is the 'peak' night, up to 25 per hour in perfect conditions (i.e. not in a city or even near one, no clouds) Enjoy !
